GOD WANTS YOU PROSPEROUS

By:  Pastor Carmin Battista

And it shall be to me a name of joy, praise and an honor before all the nations of the earth which shall hear all the good that I do unto them; and they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the prosperity that I procure unto it. (Jeremiah 33:9)

Have you ever wondered why you’re here on this earth? Have you ever wondered what Gods will is for you?  Well the first place to start to answer these questions (and any other of life’s questions) is Gods holy written word. Notice what Jeremiah reads above. It states the world is supposed to be afraid of you because of all the good and all the prosperity God will show us! When was the last time that any one has been envious of you because of how blessed and prosperous you are, and for all the stuff you have because of how much God has given you?

Now turn over to Psalms 112. Notice how verse 1 states the conditions for verses two and three to come into effect; notice it says if we fear the lord, and delight greatly in his commandments (specifically talking about his word) then verses 2 and three can come into being which states your seed will be mighty and blessed, and wealth and riches will be in our house! Any way you slice it that’s financial prosperity!

You say pastor Carmin wealth and riches certainly are not in my house!  Well first you must ask your self am I obeying Gods written word? Second what’s your motive for wanting wealth, is to blow on any and every thing; or is it to be blessed to be a blessing? Motive has every thing to do with how blessed we are in any area. Next look at your heart is it pure or do you think if I just had a lot of money then I would be someone?

No! You are some one now because of who you are in him. Money just magnifies what you all ready are. If you’re a stingy person and you become rich, then you will be a rich stingy person. If you’re a loving and giving person and you become rich you will remain a loving and giving person. But some will say prosperity ruins a fool. Yes that’s true, so find out what the bible calls a fool and don’t be that! God wants us to be blessed so we can be a blessing (Genesis 12)

The whole point is this God knows who can be trusted with money, and who can’t. (there is plenty of evidence out there as to who can and can’t be trusted!) Other things to keep in mind are 1) how is your giving 2) how is your confessions over your giving ,are they good (based on what the word says about money) or are the bad based on what your situation looks like. As you can see there are plenty  of other factors involved, so get into a good bible believing church, listen to good faith teachers, and most of all study it out for your self, there is no substitute for that.
